A free-form shearling rug in an irregular amoeba shape, pieced from deep maroon, custom-dyed Patagonian shearling.
The outline takes its cues from organic silhouettes: curves, asymmetry, no corners. The raw material is 100% Patagonian shearling, hand-selected lambskin, and the tonal variation of the maroon runs through the patchwork. The pile is 24 mm, on a backing of felt and suede. The rug is cut, sculpted and stitched in-house.
Six sizes, from 5′ × 8′ to 12′ × 15′. Shape, size and shearling tone can all be customized. It is made to order; allow 5–8 weeks.
Daddy sets it under the low table at an angle, and the room stops being square.
