Why the most-copied fragrance of the decade earned it
Aventus has been reverse-engineered by half the drugstore aisle since 2010, and it still doesn't smell like any of the clones. The pineapple-and-birch combination reads simple on paper and is genuinely hard to get right — most attempts land either too sweet or too smoky.
I don't stock things because they're famous. I stock this because the original still beats every version built to imitate it, and a house that respects craft should have the real thing on the shelf, not just the idea of it.
Everyone's smelled a version of this. Almost nobody's smelled the real one.
