You know the feeling — walking into an old barbershop and having the nostalgia land before you've even sat down. That sweet, spicy, powdery barbershop smell, the stool, the old barber, the haircut you didn't ask for. Barrbarr is built to bottle it. Lemon and rosemary up top, basil and oakmoss through the middle, sandalwood and patchouli holding the base — a proper fougère that reads unmistakably "clean man, just shaved." Underneath the scent is Noble Otter's tallow-and-silk formula: beef tallow, coconut milk, kokum and mango butters, tussah silk, whipped into a slick, cushioning, protective lather that keeps a blade honest through a full pass.

Curator's note A tallow soap wants a brush and a moment — this isn't a can of foam, and that's the whole point. If Barrbarr is your first artisan soap, expect the lather to reward a little practice. Contains beef tallow, so not for vegan routines; for those, a synthetic-base soap is the swap.
