Not the 2005 one
Dior Homme used to mean iris — Olivier Polge's powdery 2005 original. In 2020 François Demachy rebuilt it around woods instead: cedar, cashmere wood, vetiver.
It's the safer of the two, and I mean that kindly. If a man owns one fragrance and wears it to everything, this is the one I'd tell him to buy.
Polished without being shiny.
Verdict: The good navy suit of fragrance.
