The notes
- Notes
Red Maple · Laurel · Sandalwood
The scent
Red maple, laurel and sandalwood. Mist settled on the ridges, wet leaves underfoot, a porch with a good chair. Soft wood, a green damp edge, and a warmth that holds. Autumn, kept in place.
The vessel
A steel tin with a label drawn like an old park sign.
Red maple and mountain laurel over sandalwood. Autumn on a porch in the mountains, and the candle Daddy lights the week the leaves turn, wherever he happens to be.
