A hair-on-hide rug of freeform, overlapping leaf-like shapes in burnt orange and tobacco, cut with curved, layered contours.
Handcrafted in Patagonia from natural, ethically sourced full-grain hair-on-hide cowhide from South America. Each hide is individually dyed for tonal depth, then cut and stitched into the silhouette. The pattern repeats every 8″ × 16″, and the 5 mm pile sits on special cotton canvas. The shape can be scaled, elongated or simplified.
Six sizes, from 5′ × 8′ to 12′ × 15′. Oversized formats run from 8′ × 10′ to 14′ × 18′, and custom dimensions are available. It is made to order; allow 5–8 weeks.
Daddy keeps it out all year, because the leaves never needed to fall.
