How to burn it+
- The first burn decides the rest. Let the wax melt all the way to the edge before you put it out, or it tunnels from then on.
- Trim the wick to a quarter of an inch before every light.
- No more than four hours at a time, and never in a draft.
- Never leave it burning in an empty room.

The scent
Smoked cedar, sage and earth. Woodsmoke drifting over dry brush, cooling ground after the sun drops. Smoky, herbal and a little gritty, with nothing polite about it, which is exactly the point.
