The step most people skip is the one that keeps oily skin honest. After cleansing, the surface is either slightly alkaline and about to overproduce, or it's been reset. SICCUS resets it.

Organic lavender flower water and cucumber on a light alcohol base, with salicylic acid — the oil-soluble one — to get into the pore and lift what's clogging it: sebum, dirt, the residue a cleanser leaves. Sweet flag root and a rhamnose-glucose complex calm the skin on the way out; betaine and glycerin put moisture back. It removes the excess without removing the barrier, brings the skin back to its natural pH, and leaves it fresh, clear, and supple rather than tight — which is the difference between a toner that manages oil and one that provokes it. No added fragrance.

How to use Morning and evening, after cleansing. Splash into the hands and press over the face, or apply with a cotton pad on days the skin's produced more than usual. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Follow with serum and a light cream — PREBIOTIC ONE and BASIS for combination skin. On ACIES nights, skip it.
