Body lotion is where sensitive skin gets forgotten. The face gets the gentle, fragrance-managed, dermatologist-approved treatment, and the body gets whatever's cheapest by the litre. THE CREAM — SENSITIVE is the correction: face-grade care in a body-sized jar.

Organic shea and cocoa butters for the deep hydration; sunflower and olive oils and sodium PCA to lock it in; aloe, linden flower and jasmine to soothe and calm delicate skin without provoking it. Plum extract and vitamins C and E round it out. The texture is rich but fast-absorbing — it sinks in rather than sitting on top, so it works on the face as easily as the body, and leaves skin soft, supple and balanced rather than greasy. For sensitive and dehydrated skin, daily, everywhere it's needed.

What is in it

Shea butter

Organic, unrefined. The occlusive that gives a light cream enough body to actually stay put.

Aloe leaf juice

Used as the water phase rather than as a claim. Hydrating and calming from the first ingredient down.

Sodium PCA

Part of skin's own natural moisturising factor. Replaces what washing takes out, and keeps the hydration from evaporating off again.

Sunflower seed oil (organic)

Sunflower seed oil (organic) + tocopherol (vitamin E) — replenishes what the scrub removes; leaves skin conditioned, not stripped

Linden

Linden flower extract. Soothing and faintly sweet — reached for whenever a formula's whole premise is 'sensitive.'

Jasmine

Jasmine extract. Named for scent, included for the same calming effect as the linden it's paired with.

How to use

Daily, on face and body, after showering while skin is still slightly damp. Massage in until absorbed. Pairs with LACTEA and REQUIES for a head-to-toe sensitive routine, or the Corpus sensitive cleanser and scalp shampoo for the body line. Reactive skin: patch-test the first use, as with anything new.

The body gets the cheapest lotion by the litre while the face gets the dermatologist. This corrects the imbalance. Quick to absorb, kind to skin that reacts to everything — and it works on the face too.
