A high-pile rug of large, amoeba-shaped sheepskin panels sewn onto velvety shearling, in warm taupe and beige.
Entirely handcrafted in Patagonia, Argentina, in a fair-trade workshop, from 100% natural Patagonian shearling and merino sheepskin. Each pelt is hand-selected and stitched. The pile is low 1″ and high 3″, on a backing of suede and felt. The rug is breathable and naturally insulating.
Seven sizes, from 5′ × 8′ to 12′ × 15′. Custom sizes, shapes and palettes are available. It is made to order; allow 5–8 weeks.
Daddy calls it Shelter and takes cover there after dinner.
