DADDY JO
SIGMA Eau de Parfum

SIGMA Eau de Parfum

Curator's Note

I don't wear leather. I wear what leather remembers.

This one made the cut because it doesn't try to smell expensive — it smells earned. Tuscan leather that hasn't been tamed yet. Tobacco like the last one before you finally leave. Birch tar doing the thing birch tar does, which is remind you that beautiful and clean are not the same word.

Most "leather fragrances" are cologne wearing a leather jacket. Sigma is the jacket.

The gold drip on the bottle isn't packaging. It's a confession. Some of us are opulent because we're wounded, not in spite of it — and I wasn't about to let a perfumer sand that down into something inoffensive.

Verdict: Not for every day. Not for everyone. For the days you want the room to remember you left.

Daddy Jo Fragrances — PRESALE
BUY YOUR WAY INTO HEAVEN.

Heaven was never given. It was taken — by the ones who were told they didn't belong in it.

Sigma is the first pressing of the house scent. A limited run. Made once, in full, and not again in this form. Every bottle is spoken for before it exists.

This is not a fragrance you find. It's one you're admitted to.

Presale orders ship 2027. No sooner.
Daddy doesn't rush the good stuff, and neither should you.

Reserve your bottle — $500

There is a heaven for the exiled. It was not built for them. They built it anyway — out of leather and smoke and everything they were told to be ashamed of.

Sigma is what that room smells like.

The first run is limited. When it's gone, the door closes. Buy your way in.

Sigma is the house. The room before the room.

Tuscan leather that has been worn, not bought. Tobacco embedded in walls rather than lit. Birch tar and something animalic underneath — not cologne, not product, not an approximation of desire. The real thing.

Dark without apology. Sexual without announcement. The smell of a space that knows what it is and has no interest in explaining itself to you.

Sigma was built first as the scent of Daddy Jo itself — diffused through the architecture, zone by zone, so the building would smell like a decision. Now it's available as Parfum, for those who want to carry the room with them.

Presale orders ship when Sigma is ready. No sooner.

4. THE NOTES

Top — Birch Tar, Black Pepper Heart — Tuscan Leather, Tobacco Base — Castoreum, Oud, Dark Musk

Family: Leather / Animalic Character: Dark. Sexual. Animalic. Resinous. Season: Autumn / Winter Intensity: Extreme Concentration: Parfum — [TBD: chats say 20–30% aromatic compound; confirm with manufacturer before publishing a percentage. Note the live site currently lists it as "Eau de Parfum" — pick one and make it consistent.]

Notes, in Daddy's words:

Birch tar — smoky, medicinal, faintly bituminous. The note perfumers reach for when they want a fragrance to smell like it's been somewhere. Black pepper — the sting before the warmth. Keeps the opening from getting comfortable. Tuscan leather — raw, tannic, close to the hide. Leather as injury, not texture. Tobacco — not sweet pipe-tobacco. Drier, ashier. A cigarette left burning in an empty room. Castoreum — the animal in the room. Warm, leathery, faintly sweet, unmistakably alive. Oud — dark, resinous depth. The floor the whole thing stands on. Dark musk — skin, after everything else has worn off.
