A hair-on-hide rug of stitched square tiles, alternating black and white panels with diagonal stripes that intersect.
Handcrafted from ethically sourced Patagonian hair-on-hide leather by artisans in Argentina. Each block combines diagonal stripes that cross to make sharp angles, so the pattern changes as the scale does. The pattern repeats every 12″ × 12″, and the 5 mm pile sits on special cotton canvas.
Six sizes, from 5′ × 8′ to 12′ × 15′. Size, hide tone and layout can be customized, and it can be made as a runner or in a square, rectangular or round format. It is made to order; allow 5–8 weeks.
Daddy lays it in the study, where the squares keep the arguments in line.
