Not sure it's right for your skin? Four questions — Daddy will tell you.

The one serum everyone should own, minimalist or maximalist. HYALURONIC ONE does the single most useful thing a serum can do — put water into the skin and hold it there — in a texture so light it feels like silk and disappears the second it lands.

Multi-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid pulls moisture in at two depths and plumps from within; aloe juice and organic rose water calm and freshen; bisabolol soothes, and organic cloudberry and peony bring the vitamins and nutrients that keep skin looking healthy. A marine active (alteromonas ferment) rounds it out. It layers clean under anything, leaves skin fresh and radiant rather than sticky, and works as the hydration base the whole routine builds on — morning, night, every skin type.

One serum. Every routine. The moisture everything else sits on.

What it does

  • Lightweight, all-day moisture boost
  • Plumps and smooths with multi-weight HA
  • Soothes and comforts with bisabolol and aloe
  • Silk finish; layers under anything

What is in it

Aloe

Used as the water phase rather than as a claim. Hydrating and calming from the first ingredient down.

Rose water

Organic damask rose water standing in for part of the water phase. Softens the wash and carries the scent.

Hyaluronic acid

Humectant; pulls water into the upper layers and holds it there, so skin reads plump rather than merely damp. Used here at multiple molecular weights so it works at more than one depth.

Jojoba seed oil

Technically a wax ester, and close enough to skin's own sebum that it absorbs instead of sitting on top. Conditions without the grease.

Betaine

Sugar-beet humectant. Draws in moisture and takes the edge off surfactants, which is why a wash built on it rinses without that tight, squeaky finish.

Bisabolol

The soothing fraction of camomile, isolated. Present so a cream can be actives-forward without turning the skin red.

Cloudberry

Arctic berry, brief season, high vitamin C. Antioxidant work in the base while the actives do the loud part.

Ascorbyl palmitate (vitamin C)

The oil-soluble, more stable form of vitamin C — brightening and antioxidant, without the instability that keeps the pure acid form in dark bottles.

How to use

Morning and evening, on clean skin, before cream. Three or four drops pressed into slightly damp skin across face and neck. Under BASIS or LEVIS by day, SOMNUS at night; add an eye cream to finish. Layer SURGE over it for a double dose of hydration (the AQUA VITAE pairing), or wear it under any active serum as the moisture base.

Daddy keeps this one in rotation year-round — it's the plain, reliable workhorse, not the showy active. Silk going on, nothing left behind, and skin that stops looking thirsty. Not every step in the routine needs to be dramatic. This one just needs to be there.
