La Mer Lip Balm
The least complicated thing La Mer makes, and the one most likely to end up permanently in a coat pocket.
It protects and repairs, soothes and nourishes, and leaves lips smoother — the entire job description of a lip balm, and a surprisingly rare thing to find done properly. The texture is cushioned rather than waxy, so it does not sit on the lip waiting to be licked off. It is also a small tube of a very expensive brand, which makes it the most rational entry point the line has.
