Pigment is a targeting problem. Most brighteners lift the whole face a shade and hope the dark spots come along; the good ones go after the spots and leave the rest alone. ARBUTIN is the second kind. Alpha-arbutin interrupts the process that makes excess pigment, so dark spots, sun marks and post-blemish shadows fade while your actual skin tone stays yours.
Around it: lactic acid to gently refine and speed the fade, Bidens pilosa for retinol-like renewal without the sting, hyaluronic acid and sodium PCA for the lightweight hydration that keeps the skin comfortable, and vitamin E and knotted-wrack seaweed for antioxidant cover. It absorbs fast, layers under anything, and the tone evens out over weeks — brighter, clearer, radiant. The scent is smoky green vetiver — vetiver, cedar and lemon over a soft sweet-almond base.

How to use Morning and evening, on clean skin, before cream. Three or four drops across face and neck, focusing on marked areas. Sunscreen every morning — pigment work undoes itself without it. Pairs with B3 (niacinamide) and VITAMIN C ONE for a full tone routine; over CORTEX or ACIES nights, apply after the peel has absorbed. Give it four to six weeks.
