SURGE next — sodium PCA and hyaluronic acid, two hydrators at two depths, pressed into damp skin so it's plump before the cream even lands. What is in it
- Sunflower oil
Sunflower seed oil (organic) + tocopherol (vitamin E) — replenishes what the scrub removes; leaves skin conditioned, not stripped
- Chamomile
Organic. The calming half of a formula meant for skin that reacts to things.
- Sea buckthorn
Orange berry from the Nordic coast, unusually rich in carotenoids and vitamin C. Antioxidant support, and the colour in anything it touches.
- Hyaluronic acid
Humectant; pulls water into the upper layers and holds it there, so skin reads plump rather than merely damp. Used here at multiple molecular weights so it works at more than one depth.
- Sodium PCA
Part of skin's own natural moisturising factor. Replaces what washing takes out, and keeps the hydration from evaporating off again.
- Aloe
Used as the water phase rather than as a claim. Hydrating and calming from the first ingredient down.
- Bisabolol
The soothing fraction of camomile, isolated. Present so a cream can be actives-forward without turning the skin red.
- Rowanberry
Organic rowan fruit. Antioxidant defence against the everyday environmental load — sun, wind, city air.
The ritual
Morning and evening. LACTEA massaged onto dry skin, then water to turn it to milk, then rinse. SURGE pressed into skin while still damp. BASIS over it. At night, swap BASIS for SOMNUS if you have it; if not, BASIS holds fine. Nothing else required.
